Logan Young

My name is Logan Young and I am a student at Miami University.  I am currently a part of the Emerging Technology in Business and Design program.  My goal at Miami University is to get a bachelor’s degree in games & simulations with a concentration in game studies.  Over the years I have been exposed to many different programs that I use to create games and tell narratives.

I currently use Unity, Visual Studio, and Twine to design demos of video games and personal games.  Besides programming languages, I have learned many different designer programs as well such as Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Maya, CSS and HTML to create illustrations, short films, and animations.   

I always wanted to create video games.  I’ve been playing video games for as long as I can remember.  Video games are an important part of my life and I figured that if I care for video games so much, then I should pursue a gaming career.  I decided to become a game designer to create video games in order to give people a sense of joy that I had whenever I play video games.
